I have been designing and making furniture for nearly 20 years having trained in fine furniture design and craftsmanship at Rycotewood, Oxfordshire - renowned for producing some of the UK's best furniture designer makers.
Since then I have worked for designers in France and the UK and have run my own business for the last 10 years from my workshop in Sussex, UK.
I am a member of the Sussex Guild of designer makers and exhibit throughout the year.
I specialise in personal commissions for clients seeking specific and bespoke pieces of furniture. Whether designing for home, office or garden I combine the client's requirements and my skills as a designer and cabinet maker to make beautiful, custom-made wooden furniture that will last for generations.
I also make engaging contemporary pieces to show in galleries and exhibitions which often draw inspiration from British landscapes.
As a British designer and cabinet maker I endeavour to use only British hardwoods: their variety in colour, texture and grain is constantly inspiring and I firmly believe that selecting timbers from local, well managed sources makes good ecological sense.
